HEUNI recruits a marketing and communications intern

Are you an ambitious and motivated student looking to make an impact? Do you have an interest in human rights and corporate social responsibility (CSR)? We are currently seeking a marketing and communications intern to join our committed and ambitious team and make a real difference.

HEUNI-marketing-internship

This position will involve working closely with our team to promote our services and trainings. You will be expected to develop creative and effective digital marketing campaigns, write compelling texts, design graphics, and promote HEUNI on various channels. Depending on your interests, it is also possible y to participate in ongoing HEUNI research projects related to the topic, and to join events and webinars in order to learn more.

The internship includes the following tasks:
 

  • SEO optimisation of HEUNI’s website;
  • production of short videos and podcasts on such topics as corporate social responsibility, due diligence and human rights;
  • developing HEUNI online training materials;
  • stakeholder analysis and benchmarking of relevant actors in the field.

We expect you to be creative, to show initiative and flexibility, have an interest in research communication, some knowledge of topics related to sustainability, business, social policy or similar fields, as well as have practical skills related to writing, visualization and creating media content. Experience in video editing/animation and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is considered an asset.

Skills related to digital marketing are especially appreciated. HEUNI's official working languages are Finnish and English. Other languages are an asset.

Applicants are requested to attach in their application an example of their prior work (for example: a social media plan, a digital marketing strategy). 

Some universities provide an internship subsidy/trainee allowance. This allowance is considered an asset, and candidates with access to the allowance can be given a priority in case of matching skillsets and experience of the candidates.

Time and duration:
 3 months (preferably during August-October 2023, but the exact dates can be discussed)
Location: office in the Helsinki city centre, opportunity for remote work. Applicants are expected to reside in Finland.
Salary: 1700 euro per month
