In this new publication, we present a comprehensive "Customer Journey Map" that illustrates the support process for victims of forced marriage.

Based on real-life cases from our project, “It is never easy to talk about this,” the map outlines the key stages victims go through—from initial awareness and seeking help, to emergency support, long-term care, and empowerment. Each stage details the victim's actions, experiences, and challenges, and suggests effective practices for intervention. This journey map is a practical guide for service providers, designed to enhance understanding and improve the support system for victims. Alongside a survivor's story, this resource emphasizes the need for compassionate, effective care that addresses the unique challenges faced by those affected by forced marriage.

The content is based on information collected by the EASY project partners: the European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control, affiliated with the United Nations (HEUNI), University of Lleida (Spain), Associació Valentes I Acompanyades (Spain), SOLWODI (Germany), and the Immigrant Council of Ireland..
